About

Construction of the original 30m Rancho Park Archery Range was completed in 1984, in time for Olympic archers to use it as a limited practice venue. Thirty years later, in August of 2014, the original range was demolished to make room for a new, expanded archery facility with separate 10m, 18m, 30m and 50m ranges. As with the original range, Easton Foundations generously provided funding for construction. Under the guidance of Don Rabska (Easton), Judith Kieffer (LA Parks Foundation), Bryan Greenfield (Architect), Charles Singer (LA Parks & Rec), and a host of others, the new Easton Archery Range at Rancho Park opened on September 23, 2017.

The loose coalition of volunteers that had run the old range was not adequate to operate the new expanded range, so a new 501c3 nonprofit corporation, Rancho Park Archers, was formed to operate the new archery range.
